Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw your application for membership of the ‘Gewerkschaft Underdog e.V.’ within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date on which you applied for membership of the Gewerkschaft Underdog e.V.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

You must inform us of your decision to withdraw your application for membership by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose, although this is not mandatory. You are also free to use the withdrawal button on the page where the ‘Application for membership’ is available.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for you to send notification of your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of withdrawal

The consequence of the withdrawal is that you will not become a member of the ‘Gewerkschaft Underdog e.V.’. Or, if your application has already been approved by the executive committee, your membership will be revoked with retroactive effect from the date your application was approved.

We will not charge you for the costs incurred in connection with your application for membership or your withdrawal of that application.
